Buyer Questions?

If you won the auction, then the iBidgolf seller must sell and ship or their account will be suspended from selling until the issue is resolved. You should contact the seller to try to resolve the issue before contacting iBidgolf Support. However,iBidgolf can’t force a seller to sell.

Whenever you place a bid, you’re agreeing to buy the item if you win the auction. You can try and  contact the seller to see if they’ll agree to cancel a bid for you.

You can retract a bid if:

  • The seller significantly changed the description of the item
  • You accidentally bid the wrong amount. For example, you meant to bid £20, not £200.

Please keep in mind that you can’t always retract a bid once it’s made

We recommend waiting a few days after the expected delivery date before contacting the seller to let them know that your item hasn’t arrived yet.

If you do not get a reply in 8 working days, report it to us within 21 business days of your purchase and we’ll help. Please contact our Customer Support Team.

However, if you and the seller are working on a solution, you don’t need to ask us to step in as soon as the 8 days are up. Most sellers want to fix problems for their buyers, so please give them a bit longer to figure things out.

Seller Responsibility

If you have sold (seller) the item and it goes missing on the way to its destination, we recommend that you contact your chosen courier to locate it. If it becomes clear the package cannot be recovered, a refund will need to be issued immediately to the buyer. Then you will need to approach your courier for a refund.

Note: Contact the buyer to ensure they supplied the correct shipping address details.

To contact a seller, use the Ask A Question button in the listing. Simple click the Ask A Question button under the items description on the listing. (You may be asked to sign in).

If you paid by credit or debit card, the refund can take up to 10 working days to go back into your account. The reason it can take so long is because both our provider and the bank that issued your card need to process the refund.

Yes, businesses are legally allowed to offer you a credit note in place of a refund. However, if you are legally entitled to a refund, then the business cannot insist that you accept a credit note or voucher instead.

Seller Questions?

The way iBidgolf works is a seller lists an item, adds photos of the thief golf equipment and a description and choosing a price and shipping price. Buyers then can bid on it or simply “Buy it Now.” When a deal has been made, buyers make payment via any of a number of different payment options, and the seller ships it.

All iBidgolf account holders pay a 10% final value fee for all items sold. (This includes the shipping fee if applicable).

The Listing fee on iBidgolf is 30p for each new listing created.

Please Note: If the item doesn’t sell it can be relisted for free.

If an item or items are not sold on iBidgolf then you will not be charged the 10% final value fee for the listing.

We recommended that the minimum and maximum image dimensions are 500×500 pixels and 1600×1600 pixels (height and width), respectively. Each photo can be a maximum of 7MB in size, but keep in mind this could impact your upload speed. The larger the photo, the longer it takes to upload.

On occasions you might find yourself in a situation where the buyer hasn’t yet paid for the item they bought. If that happens, you should contact the buyer to try to resolve the issue before contacting iBidgolf Support.

If you don’t refund a buyer for a legitimate reason they will be automatically refunded from money you have in your PayPal account, if you don’t have sufficient funds in there they will withdraw it from your bank or credit card that is attached to the PayPal account.

If there are insufficient funds in you PayPal account a debt will be placed on your Paypal account. Your account will then be prevented from depositing any funds to your bank account, and any further money you make will go toward paying this debt off. Once the debt is paid, the lockdown will be rescinded, and you’ll be able to deposit money again, however you will be on your final warning.
